HOLY ROLLER

Female Run, Iggy Pop Themed, Aperol Spritzer Brunch?

Count us in!

Recently opened, this female run Iggy pop themed restaurant had a 2 hour wait for brunch - and so what did we do? We went across the street drank mimosas at a neighboring bar and waited to be called - because its that cool.  Once we were seated our waitress described to us the bottomless drink menu which featured Aperol Spritzer and a St. Germaine Spritzer (these are liqueurs FYI) so we opted out and decided to go with the extensively creative cocktail list.  We ordered the STRUGGLE BUS which were four small pizza bites made with a sweet tomato sauce on puff pastry.  Next we went for the TRASH FRIES which consisted of thin fries with gravy, sunny egg, sour cream, corn, lime, cotija - that everyone dug into immediately.  I ordered “The Local” for my entree and was VERY pleased with my decision - it was a homemade biscuit, with local brisket, scrambled eggs, Green Apple Slices and cilantro. For cocktails we ordered the a plethora which were all absolutely stunning! Our favorites were the Heretic & Ruby Soho, the others didn’t please us too much but they were consumed regardless.  This place is FUN - there is a large light up crown, Iggy pop posters, and a Confess-ional that lights up outside of the restroom.  When in Austin - try all the trendy brunch places, CHECK!
